What is NDIS Plan Management?

Plan management is a service that helps you manage the funding in your NDIS plan. As your plan manager, Plan Forward takes care of paying invoices, keeping records, and helping you track your budget—so you can focus on your goals, not the paperwork.

How is Plan Management different from being self-managed or NDIA-managed?

Self-managed: You handle all invoices, budgets, and payments yourself.

NDIA-managed: Only registered providers can be used, and the NDIA pays them directly.

Plan-managed (with us!): We take care of the financial admin, you can use both registered and non-registered providers, and you stay in control of your choices.

Can I still choose my own providers?

Absolutely. With Plan Forward, you have the freedom to choose any provider— whether they’re NDIS-registered or not. We simply help you make the most of your budget and ensure all invoices meet NDIS requirements.

How do invoices get paid?

Your providers send invoices directly to us (or you can forward them), and we process and submit them through the NDIS portal. We check everything is compliant and usually pay within 3–5 business days.
